Recognizing time is valuable for everyone, Hot Wax Studio (HWS) now has a no execption policy.

HWS has updated studio policies including our C.C Authorization, Cancellation, Refund, Late Fee & No Show Policies has been updated as follows: 

Please arrive a few minutes early to appointments with HWS.

Time of the Month:

Periods do not affect HWS's ability to provide Brazilian services just wear a clean tampon and we're good! If you choose to cancel please note we still apply our cancelation policies. 

GUEST COURTISIES: 

HWS's clients depend on a private atmosphere for their services. We can not accommodate guests who are not receiving services. 

APPOINTMENT REMINDERS:
Please don't rely on HWS reminders to remember appointments. We are not responsible for sending courtesy reminders. When booking online you most likely will receive a courtesy reminder of an upcoming appointment. However, there is no guarantee of delivery.  Please note our guests are still responsible for their appointment and our cancelation policy.

COVID / SICKNESS:

The ONLY thing HWS wants spread around is wax! Please, don't show up with signs of illness because I will need to re-book your appointment. This will be considered a no show.

 

HABITUAL CHANGES:

A client who habitually cancels/ re-schedules or removes a service from 2 or more appointments booked within 10 days of their scheduled appointment may no longer book in advance with us. We understand not everyone’s schedule is predictable so we will work with clients who need the same day when available. 

MULTIPLE NO SHOWS: 

Last minute changes in any 12 month period will result in termination from our business. HWS does not offer refunds or exchanges on any products or services. 

REFUNDS. We do not offer refunds on products or services.

 

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW AT BOOKING: 

To book your appointment HWS requires a credit card to secure your appointment. Don't worry! You will not be charged until the day of your appointment. Your CC is not used for payment at the time of your service. However, your CC on file will be (automatically charged) for NO SHOWS or CANCELLATIONS outside HWS cancellation policy. Please bring in a physical form of payment, as the card on file is not used at checkout. Please bring in your ID if you’re using a card for payment. We only accept cards with chips and we do not accept Venmo as a credible source for payment or checks.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY Agreement:

HWS has a very strict 5-minute late policy. When you book an appointment you agree to be automatically charged 50% off your full service if you arrive 5 minutes or more after your scheduled appointment with your card held on file in our booking system, or a card we have on file. I try my best to still accommodate late clients however this is not always the case that I can do so. Clients who habitually arrive late will need to be booked at the end of our day or booked on a same day basis when available. 

 

If you need to reschedule or cancel, it must be done 24 HOURS  before a single services and 48 HOURS for multiple services booked to avoid a late cancel fee. Depending on how many services booked Less than 24-48 HOURS notice of appointments changes or cancelations will result in a late cancel fee of 50% for services that are canceled outside the above time frame and 100% of services booked for NO SHOWS. Future appointments will not be allowed to book until the cancellation fee is paid.
